Scelta was born from the frustrations David experienced as a project coordinator handling client selections on multi-unit construction projects and his Nonna experienced moving into a new build ranch.

When he brought his Nonna's home and selections to life in the first Scelta Configurator (now a legacy product), she said he had given her, "il potere de scelta", which means, "the power of choice", in Italian. That was the moment that Scelta was born.
